Step 2: Selecting the Transportation Service:

– Our tour package has 2 types: including round-trip bus tickets (Hanoi – Ha Giang – Hanoi) and excluding bus tickets. Tickets are arranged according to the standard type of vehicle called “sleeper bus”.

– You can choose our tour excluding bus tickets, and buy more luxurious bus tickets from one of the bus types shown on our website with the respective pick-up/drop-off point. Remember to notify us in advance via WhatsApp as well for ticket availability checking before we confirm your request.

Step 3: Selecting the Accommodation:

– Bunk beds are arranged for our guests in all types of tour packages, both at NorthStar Hostel in Ha Giang city and at homestays on the loop tour.

– In case you want to change to a private room, please choose the respective room type shown on the website. Entire information filled in the tour registration form is sent to our email address once you click the “Book now” button. Notify us in advance via WhatsApp about your request in order for us to check the room availability before we confirm your request.

Step 4: Selecting the Motorbike:

– Standard motorbikes of 110 cc are arranged for our guests and included in the tour package price. It is applicable to both Self-Riding and Easy Rider types.

– In case you want to upgrade your motorbike to a higher capacity, please choose the respective one shown on the website. Entire information filled in the tour registration form is sent to our email address once you click the “Book now” button. Notify us in advance via WhatsApp about your request in order for us to check the motorbike availability before we confirm your change.

– For changing the motorbike type, a confirmation of price and type will be sent to the guest to obtain the guest’s acknowledgment of the change and payment before they enter the tour.

Guests are encouraged to fill in the entire information fields stated on the form. It helps us to communicate and/or support our guests either before starting their tour or during and after completing their trip.

The tour prices shown on the website of the NorthStar Tour are applicable to one person and do not include bus transportation services to / from Ha Giang. Tour selection can be a 3-day-2-night or 4-day-3-night tour and excluded or combined with round-trip bus tickets depending on the guest’s selection. Below are other benefits of the tour packages as well as things that are excluded in the tour prices.

What expenses are excluded:

* Fee to change accommodation type from bunk bed to private room.

* Upgrading motorbike fee. Agent and/or guest must notify NorthStar Tour one day prior to the tour starts and subject to the motorbike availability.

* Bus tickets to pick up or drop off from other provinces to Ha Giang City or upgrade to a luxurious type.

* Travel fee applicable to foreign guests, Value Added Tax (if VAT invoice is required).

* Tip for Tour Leader and/or Easy Rider (not mandatory).

You need to have an International Driving Permit / License (IDP / IDL) stamp A or A1 when selecting the tour for self-riding. A National License must be carried along when you ride the motorbike during the trip.

With the hilly terrain of Ha Giang, using a scooter or automatic bike is not suitable for mountain roads with a full of ups and downs and is less safe than opting for a semi-automatic or manual bike. Actually, you need the gear to make the speed be slower if you go down the slope. In this post, a short practicing section before starting the Ha Giang loop tour is implemented with a semi-automatic motorbike, which is to make sure you are able to ride safely and confidently to experience and enjoy the trip with NorthStar Tour.

The tour option: “Self-Riding or Ride by Yourself” with respective cost applies in this case. You will be entirely responsible for any issue with your own motorbike & legal risks incurred during the trip.

* Absolutely, you can book accommodation at NorthStar Homestay & Hostel before or after the Ha Giang loop trip. Many guests like to give themselves a little more time in Ha Giang city before or after their loop trip to further explore the lifestyle of the local people as well as to have a little rest after their long trip before going to other destinations.

* In addition, extra nights can be separately charged for your new room booking. Simply select your check-in / check-out date, room type and number of occupiers and send us your request via our email to reserve the booking.

If you want to change your pick-up or drop-off location and have the cost settled with NorthStar, we are pleased to assist. You kindly inform us at least 24 hours prior to the bus departure time via both our support email and WhatsApp number for our checking.

After this time, the result of the change is subject to availability. Any cancelation or no-show, no refund shall apply in any case.

You can pay in cash, by credit card (physical cards) or online payment with an extra 3.5% bank fee which is applied to both methods.

* To secure your tour ticket booking after making your tour reservation, a deposit of VND500,000 – approximately US$20 is required to settle into our bank account, which is stipulated in the booking acknowledgment to be sent to your email.

* The remaining amount shall be settled in full to NorthStar Tour one day prior to the tour start date. We will send you the receipt to acknowledge your payment is successfully completed via your email.
